Who we are
STEM is an acronym for Sustainable, Technology, Education, and Ministry. We are a non-profit Christian organization dedicated to providing technology education to orphanages or impoverished schools in developing nations. We bridge the socioeconomic gap and connect underprivileged children with technology, believing that knowledge is power and education is key to a better life.
What carries forward
Care begins with attention
We explore until we find an area of opportunity where practical expertise can improve a young person’s odds.
Then we find people who know that field well enough to teach it. Equipment supports the lesson; it is never the objective. The objective is a useful, competitive skillset a student can continue building after we leave.

Six projects. No repeated answers. Each began with a useful skill offered freely—and local talent ready to make it their own.
The principal was asked to identify five students who were always testing the limits—the curious kids finding workarounds and teaching their friends. Game-design instruction gave that instinct a craft. One of them was Aziel.

Ten computers and language software became the foundation’s first test of a simple thesis: teach the skill that changes the odds.
A generator and portable computers adapted the Santiago idea for a school where electricity itself was part of the challenge.
Eight schools, forty iPads, teacher-built short courses, and training designed to make the resource useful after the handoff.
Music offered a different opening: help young performers learn the tools for recording, producing, and sharing work they already knew how to make.
Ten iPads gave a Montessori school a more adaptable teaching tool—and students another surface on which to explore and make.
03 / Grow · One story
When the Belize program began, the principal was asked to identify the “troublemakers”—the bored, curious students who found their way around the restrictions and taught their friends what they discovered.
Five were invited into an after-school game-building class. Aziel took to the creation side of technology and kept going. He later built technology companies of his own. The original teacher and student still talk every few weeks—now about products, investment decks, and the problems entrepreneurs solve together.
